Natalie didn't seem very upset for a girl whose high school sweetheart has just been killed in a horrific and inexplicable way.
These high school kids have their own cable TV show?
I'd actually forgotten that the bad guy all along was the mother. Creepy at the end when they found all the decaying bodies in her attic. ::shudders::
I feel like a broken record, but... this episode would've been a lot better with Mulder and Scully investigating it, old school style. That said, I did enjoy Scully's interaction with Rocky.
The only redeeming quality of this episode, for me, is that Vince worked with a young actor who would later be one of his stars in Breaking Bad. You wouldn't know it from this episode of course, but Aaron Paul is seriously talented.
I also thought the teaser was incredibly long, boring and stupid and I kind of forgot what I was watching at one point... though I did rewatch S9 in Australia so I might have been a bit preoccupied lol!
I didn't mind Rocky, as corny as he was. It was kind of amusing. And the mother comment that Scully made just made me lol cause I pretty much thought the same thing as _folieadeux!

See, I think this episode would've been better had they not written it ... ever. But thats just me. It reminds me of all the teen angst in Rush. Oy.

Or Schizogeny. The teen angst thing has been done several times on this show.

LMAO. I was going to write the same thing. Really not a fan of this one.

LMAO! So very, very true.
I didnt rewatch this ep, but I remember being really annoyed with Doggett about something early on in the ep. Maybe I should watch and tell everyone?
I dont really think I could though with all that horrible teen-angst going on. Yuck.

I don't know why, but I like the shot of Scully being flanked by Reyes and Doggett. I love any shot that shows how tiny GA/Scully is basically.
