Damn it, LJ ate my previous comment.

I'm gonna go with FTF, although I loved both movies. I loved IWTB for the intimate vibe it gave off, and for all the little inside jokes and winks to the longtime fans. But I think overall, FTF was the stronger movie. It fit more with the TV show, too.

Come on, I saw you jiggle the handle.

Same here. I really, really love IWTB for many reasons, I've seen it many times by now, and I will always defend it. The choice wasn't easy, but when it comes down to it, FTF is the winner. By a split second.

While I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IWTB, I think that FTF still reigns as my favourite, because it's the one that really bought me back into the fandom a few years ago, also, I think Scully is a TINY bit hotter in FTF than IWTB.

I can't answer this! They're so different and both right for the time they were made. Mulder and Scully were at such hugely different places in their lives in both of them that I don't think it's fair making me choose one over the other. So there lol. :p It's funny that I watched FTF right after watching IWTB in the cinema and thought 'WOAH' because IWTB seems very ... little in comparison. Slower moving, clearly a smaller budget, much less frenetic. But I think that a movie like FTF would have been totally out of character for them coming so long after the ending of the show. Annnnnd I just wrote an essay.
