So true!!!!

I enjoyed Mulder POV... both in thinking his actions thru, his desire to apologize and his inability to figure out the lost art of multi-tasking for males in intimate situations lol.

And thank Lord for the modern Scully, ready to take her dues and be in charge of her femininity.

It made for such a great story, true to their characters and thanks to your great job in putting it in context for a shared history that we all enjoy.

This is better (the tone and rhythm in particular) than what I imagined when prompting, made me ready to re-watch a few episodes and fall in love all over again.

You are very welcome. The humor came easily. Mulder is a fun, familiar POV for me to write so I'm glad that worked for you. The sex was harder (thank god for my beta goddess, tree), but yes, Thoroughly Modern Scully to the rescue. I do think she'd have to be the one to initiate intimacy.

It made me rewatch a few episodes, too. I enjoyed this one, for sure!
