I'm so glad to see you posting again, love. I've really been missing you. I've been to Oregon once since you've been away, and oh how I begged and pleaded with my father to let me go see you, but alas, I lost that argument.

He may have said yes if I weren't 200 miles away from Portland... I said, well what's 200 miles between friends? He laughed and turned away.
