Recently at my school a boy committed suicide. He killed himself after his roommate, not once but twice, recorded him having same-sex relations. He asked his roommate to leave the room and the roommate obliged. He left the room, went to a friends and manually turned on his webcam to see what was going on. "A gay teen killed himself. " But that's what it was. I don't see how that's negative.

I think it's the neon sign they have pointing to the 'gay' that's annoying a great deal of people. The same recognition would have been had had they stated the NEEDED facts. Teenager kills himself. Story over. The more you read into the story you see that the reason isn't that he was GAY that he killed himself. It's because he had a secret that was spread all over the place globally and his sense of security was destroyed. Once that's gone it's very rare that you get it back.

So it's not all that it is and the media is trying to do their best in making it that way. Which is why it's negative.

It'd be like if any other person died who was also homosexual and on their obituary read "Gay Guy dies 2010". It's just inelegant.
