so it looks like i'm working for a new all-vegan (and all sxe) vegan baking company. Strong Hearts Baking Co.whats awesome is that its a new DIY oriented, ethical company. and one that really needs someone to come in and provide structure from the ground up. the baking is there (and its super-awesome), but they lack the "business mind" (or ( Read more... )

that looks so awesome.
my reccomendation is to send isa chandra moskowitz some dougnuts and stuff because she reviews everything in her ppk blog.
she wrote about a company in nz called angelfood that sold marshmellows and it blew up instantly, so when you are ready and set up and ready for the orders, get her in on it.
living in new zealand sucks for getting good vegan food :(
hows risen going?

dude, let's chill whenever you're out here. you, me, handmade vegan ice cream from 'scoops'. consider it a 3-pronged party of awesomeness.

dude, temptation pales in comparison to scoops, in my opinion. granted, temptation is a totally vegan company, so they win there. their flavors aren't as amazing and varied, though. scoops has a suggestion board, and they make new flavors off of it all the time. banana double oreo ice cream? had it. pumpkin spice? had it. chocolate candy cane? had it. their flavors are fan-fucking-tastic, and they have 4-6 different vegan flavors daily.
and it's right across the street from a vegan cafe and a local indie bike shop, and right next door to a 'learn to build it yourself' bike co-op. best fucking block in the world.

FYI, I was just certified by The Vegan Society as a professional vegan food taste tester, you know, in case you need some product testing performed.
