Cordy is in his arms. Only she’s not. He knows she’s not. There is no way she can be there with him, she lays, in a coma, in a hospital bed. Lost to the world, maybe forever.
But he doesn’t want that for, can’t stand the thought. He much prefers the reality where she is in his arms, and so that is the reality he has chosen.
It doesn’t matter that it is impossible.
He wills it and it is - in his mind at least.
She is warm and soft, everything he remembers her to be. In his arms, alive.
