I was watching the weather before and what they basically came to conclude was that this storm is a "wait-and-see-what-happens" kind of thing. It could go north and then northeast across southern Florida, which would be Saturday afternoon/evening, but another path that they're thinking it could take is stalling over the Yucatan Peninsula and turning back around to go back the way it came and eventually dying down in the Caribbean. They said that the second path is what seems like it's going to do, but it's not definite. However, if it does go up across southern Florida, we wouldn't get the worst of it, probably just some strong winds and rain, maybe something that feels like a Category 2 ish storm. That's assuming it stays on that exact path across southern Florida...but then again, it could alter just a bit and head more north before heading east, therefore hitting us worse
