Saw- I saw SAW and I tell you what, it was one of the scariest movies I have seen in a long time. I'll tell you why...because it scares me that such a piece of shit can gain some much word of mouth and buzz. Saw is to horror movies what nu-metal is "aggressive" music. I do not think that by-in-large people have such thoughts. If you show up at the gym or climbing club or library alone, i.e. sans girlfriend, I think people for the most part will think you are there to do work and thats that. Because this particular chick was a friend of your ex and knew your situation she may have been more inclined to think that but that is an extreme and very specific case. Now, if you show up to a wedding or some other similar event alone then people usually do think things like "is he single? maybe he is gay?" Its retarded but unfortunately true.
