There is a commercial running here in the US for a game concerning the london underground crime world and it shows a series of things or events and then gives the "english" coutnerpart in slang or what not (ie people on line, narrator says "cue up", right?). hmmm very interesting, feel like I should know the answer. I am a little too posh for slang. Nobody really uses rhyming slang anymore, my moms dad did about 20 years ago but I guess us Brits are known for our old peculiar ways. I will find out and get back to you, what an intereting concept for a tv show! WEIRD!

right just asked my boyfriend who is an expert on the matters of slang and he informed me that 'ows ur father' means a bit of fumbling, getting up to mischief, sexual activity, petting, all that sort of thing, not the sexist of phrases, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
