Bleach doesn't hurt. It just itches a lot if you leave it in long.

bleach isnt intolerable, i mean i have the lowest pain threshold ever and i still manage it, it's just very uncomfortable for a little while. once you stop applying it and let it set on your hair, it usually stops burning.
