A huge pain in the neck

Oh, was it July? I thought it was June for some reason. As far as I know, ACTA is still very much passed. I got a VPN; hopefully that'll keep me safe. I was pretty damn worried without it though, and I still kind of am. ACTA is so much bullshit.

All the articles I've read say July. Originally it was going to start on the 12th but now it's the 1st. Which VPN service are you using? I'm really worried about all my anime downloads. I don't use torrent so much, mainly Mediafire and Jumbofiles. Oddly there doesn't seem to be as much protesting over the web as there was about SOPA.

I remembered the 12th, just got the J months mixed up. I'm using Astrill; dunno if it's the best deal or anything, but I got in on my dad's with a family plan so it was cheaper for me that way. I'm worried about my anime and manga downloads too! And I really hope Mediafire stays okay like it has been.

I think the reason there's been less protesting is because we already lost, and there's nothing we can do about it. They essentially went over the taxpayers' heads when they made a treaty instead of legislation. They saw with SOPA/PIPA that voters wouldn't stand for this shit and politicians' necks were on the line if they supported it, so they made it a treaty so we can't do anything about it.
