I wish I was a really religious person.

I want to believe so bad..but it all confuses me and I'm not sure at all. I don't know anything. It's kinda scary

I went through a phase like that.
I was baptized when i was like 7 and realized it was a joke like 6 years later. truth be known, the entire time that I was a "christian", i never really believed in jesus. he scared me like you would not believe.. what with the blood and the beard and stuff... but that's another story.
Then I decided to sorta do a bit dabbling in other religions and such. Of course I couldn't stick with anything for very long.. I always seemed to find something I disagreed with in their teachings, etc.
After a long while, I decided that I'd just abandon traditional religion and just do my own thing. Turns out that "my own thing" was almost exactly identical to Buddhism (go figure), a religion/philosophy that I have always had a fascination with but knew little about. So I studied up and "converted",.. and yeah.. ta da..
