LARP Game Idea

I am of course an old retired member of the Camarilla, from the old World of Darkness games in Seattle/Everett area. Not played any of the new Vampire the Requiem or any of those games, and haven't even played LARP since those days. I'll be unlikely to actually make it, but the very idea makes me smile a deep warm fuzzy smile. I think of Hildreth and Ricky and all my children-selves that wandered off into memory and then out of memory instead of getting a conclusion. A barely-was Boggan girl, a Malk who thought she was Death and only played in one game.

As I sit here at work, I cannot remember the name of the calligrapher Toreador whose skin I inhabited for hundreds of hours, but I remember my horror at the player who had bought the Eat Food ability and cheerfully walked into an Everett game visibly wolfing down a turkey sandwich. Those were some damn fine turkey sandwiches.

I'm grateful to realize that Sir Ricky, at least, got to grow up with me as I realized I need to live in my male brain for real some days. Going to Norwescon in full masculine mode last year and getting a kiss on the cheek from Amy who will never stop looking like Princess Lolly was conclusion enough there, I think. Ricky can go gracefully grump with the rest of me.

Yes, nice to recall some of the games and characters we had. For now it is just an idea though that is still forming. Unlikely we could find and gather a bunch of former Cammies for such a game but still fun to consider and contemplate a "Where are they now" kind of game.
