Welcome back to 2006, everyone.

It's really not that I'm wishing I was a young girl of 21 again (although secretly I really do), but for the first time in a really long time, I've begun to appreciate television. Really appreciate it, and I don't mean just watching Family Guy because it's on. But don't misunderstand, I'm not someone who will plan her day around the hours of 8-10 ( Read more... )

i agree. i dont even have access to television programming but netflix makes television shows so much better...

new fixes:

-THE WIRE... probably my FAVORITE tv show of all time. i suggest if you watch it you watch from beginning to end of all 6 seasons. amazinly dramatic, intense and addicting.
-TWIN PEAKS... only two seasons but yeah addicting
-WEEDS.... havent finished the series, but its gooood
-ITS ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILLY... youve probably seen this... only funny show on television

First of all the visual is hilarious. Now I want to see Abhik grow out his hair! Second of all, I haven't watched any new shows except Dancing With the Stars for about 3 years now...

...BUT... If I were to recommend some oldies but goodies they'd be:

Veronica Mars and Monk. Both are detective-ish shows, but the personality of the main characters makes up for the places where the plot lines are sub-par. Also in the same genre, if you've never watched it, Columbo is the BEST SHOW THAT TV HAS EVER HAD. Although it doesn't really have a big story arc or anything.

Also, this post explains why I haven't seen much of you guys even though I've been in town for like 3 months :P

Hehe, I did, technically, name my dog after a serial killer. Season 2 of Dexter is as good as, if not better than season 1. I'm not sure when it'll be out on DVD, though.

I highly recommend Alias, if you haven't watched it. It's definitely a show that will hook you and keep you hooked. Same with Heroes, though I like Alias better.

30 Rock, Weeds, and Desperate Housewives. In approximately that order.

I'm not your LJ friend. I guess that makes me more of an LJ stalker...? But we can be LJ friends, if you want!

haha... I got hooked on Big Love this year. First few episodes, you feel kinda silly watching it, but it's addictive. I got James hooked!

good call on Arrested Development.

I have all 9 seasons of Are You Afraid of the Dark on dvd if you'd ever like to see them. (Alex and I were itching for it a few summers ago).
Now I'm just waiting for the Wonder Years to be released.
