I agree with you. Enjoy the experience and remember it. I taught in Brooklyn for a couple of years before coming to a private school. It was the best thing I could have done. It gave me a great perspective and made me appreciate the students I have here.

I listen to other teachers complain here and I laugh because they never taught anywhere else and they complain because a student didn't want to tuck in their shirt.

Every teacher should go to bootcamp in the inner city before they start their career.

Feel good, you are doing something very few can.
