New Fic: 507 Gapfiller: Kaleidoscope

Wow. Talk about bittersweet. 507 was one of the strongest episodes of the season. But...

*sigh*

Well. I guess we knew it was coming :(

So... I have something a little different this week. Three POVs, all second person (thanks burnitbackwards for the encouragement!). And much love to ragingpixie for the read-through. *kisses*

Well, I think I started crying during the second sentence and I still am.
Ethan, this expressed so beautifully what I thought the character were (or should have been) feeling. I am so angry with Brian and was furious when the changed Justin can't to won't. I really don't know what to say, but it was just beautiful. m

Thanks for this... there was a lot of assumption on my behalf in this gapfiller, and I was hoping that the emotions I felt the characters would have would also ring true for readers. I wasn't angry with Brian, but just... frustrated with him. I wish someone could take him by the shoulders and say that line is getting *really* old now!!! But hopefully all this will serve as a wake-up for him.

Am utterly incoherent with tears and angst, almost as much as when I heard "You Are My Sunshine" at the end of the episode itself--that had me downright sobbing. You're brilliant, and this was spot-on characterization. You even made me like Michael!

LOL! Yeah, I haven't been much of a fan of his for many seasons now, but somehow with this one, I just really wanted to see it from an outsider's perspective. And this ep was almost as much about Brian and Justin breaking up as it was about the dissolution of Brian and Michael's friendship. I just wanted to try and see things from his point-of-view.
