Ethan, Ethan, Ethan---I so much love your stories. this one is no different. It's like you are there as a fly on the wall and watching these two. You have such a gift and we have been so blessed over the years to have you writing stories such as these. I do need to get every one of your stories printed--you have a notebook in my house with your name on it but I have been remiss lately in printing stories lately from anyone-but I never want to forget your writing. Hey Lois... damn, you made me grin with this. Seriously. I'm so glad you liked those lines... I'd really been wanting to "re-write" that story for a while now, but wanted to make it feel like the future, feel like they have the history and the love between them that I think they do now (or would do in the future!). I also wanted a certain maturity to the voice of Justin, and I hope I achieved that.

And thank you for the welcome back... try as I might I can't stop these stories from writing themselves. Going back to write this story after my month or two hiatus was like going back to visit old friends, honestly :) I really do have too much left to say to stop yet.

PS - Thanks for sharing with me that you print out my stuff. That makes me feel like my stories have life beyond the online world :)
