Hey Andz... so sorry about that (re. your other comment) - it was completely my fault :| I started having second thoughts about this fic and pulled it for a couple minutes then re-posted after changing a couple minor things. Honestly, I'm still unsure about it, but I had to just let it go.

ETHAN. You probably didn't notice but I've been MIA for a while. I'm SO sorry I didn't reply to your last two (I think it's two?) entries. Buuut I'm back now and I squealed when I saw this on my friends page.
This is the best RPS I've read in a long time (possibly ever). Largely because of this paragraph:
I look at him, his eyes closed, cheek resting on his fingers beneath his head. His hair is a little skewed around his face and he looks so not perfect and I love that. There's a dark tinge of circle beneath his eye, the start of tiny wrinkles around his mouth, and an actual, bona fide nose hair curling out of his nostril. It makes me smile just to look at him, to stare at him like this, knowing he's lying there for me. I keep pushing my hand up and down his spine, pressing harder, feeling each ridge beneath my fingers.
*loves you forever* I have no idea how many times I read that. Love it love it love it. This is RPS at it's very finest.

As usual, you leave me speechless and blushing :P I love what you say about my fics, and this... geez. You always know how to make me feel awesome and everything. I love that you loved that part - I want my RPS to feel real, and that was what just, well, felt real somehow.

I think it was the line about the single nose hair...such an odd thing, but it just made everything all the more real. The small things about people that we know and love that seem so inconsequential. The hesitation and the fear of screwing up a good thing before it even starts...haven't we all felt that at one point? And the sex itself; real, sloppy, messy...like sex is. Just awesome, Ethan. Home run!
Yeah, that nose hair. You know, it was one of those lines that crept in there and somehow seemed to work, I guess :) The thing with RPS is that I think it should feel more *real* than other fics, and so I try to throw in those realistic details like errant nose hairs :P
