And FYI, when I recently realized that I had never gone back and truly made my way through all of the stuff that you wrote before I discovered QaF, I saved it all to disk, and have been slowly savoring every bit. My very favorites -- of which there are many! -- are sitting in an "Ethan" folder on my desktop waiting for me to write specific feedback to you about them. I think more of your fics have gained my personal maximum star and plus ratings for total hotness, passion, and emotional poignancy than have those of any other author. I promise I will get around to detailing my adoration of your writing and these fics to you when my life settles down a bit. For now suffice it to say, thank you. Your writing is amazing, and it never fails to make my day. Keep up the great work!

Thanks for sharing this with me, Flame :) I love hearing that my older stories still have some life left in them, months and even years after I've written them. I admit there are a couple that I think, "what the hell was I thinking", and I'd rather delete or heavily edit, but then I see them as part of my writing history and I've learned something from each one of them, so I just leave them as is. And there are also some that I'm really proud of, so I'm glad to know that people are still reading and enjoying them :)
