I'm glad you picked up on that... I wanted this "first" to be as much about Justin doing something new as it was about Justin starting the journey to becoming who he is as a man. More times than not, I think Brian was teaching Justin that lesson as much as anything else - helping guide him to become "the best homosexual he could be".

With regards to the romance aspect, I was trying to hold off a little in the earlier chapters as I'm doing these chronologically (I've just realized that might not be clear to everyone else, but anyway, that's what I'm doing! lol!) - and I didn't think there would be all that much romance early on. But as I write more chapters and get further on in their relationship, I think you'll start to see a little more romance between the lines ;)
