I've been really sad about Mike going to Japan next year, mainly because he has just gotten accepted to USAC and there is no doubt that he will get accepted to the school in Hiroshima.

BUT.

I just learned that Mike's mom wants me to go with them to Tokyo for four days before he heads off to Hiroshima.

So I really want him to go now.
