Dual difficult missions, yes please!

Ok here's my first rant for the year, not really a rant, more an idea that has been discussed may a time on every FFXI board (well I don't know that for sure, but it quite possible has been at one time or another on most boards).

I personally agree, kinda pissed me off to finish CoP prior to the nerfs, which mind you I got the promies done when they were the ORIGINAL promies.. to watch SE basically hand the noobs sea access for free. Sea was fun because limited people had it, it was a remotely easy place to low man things, and even solo some stuff.

Now its just crowed with noobs running around wiping to things, getting lost, etc.

I would rather them switch the missions back to what they were. Sea is not something scrubs should have access to with such ease.. the missions were hard for a reason, and even then they really weren't that hard.. The hardest other then the main 3 promies was probably Promy-Vhazl and the only hard part was the climb up.

I shouted my entire way through CoP except for the last 2 missions, so people can't say it is or was impossible. The one major thing that pisses me off is the no exp loss in the BC's now. After everyone else that actually tried, struggled, and lost so much money/exp, the scrubs just get a clean walk to sea without a

initially I remember being scared of the Promy shouts when I heard them. I had already heard a lot of very ugly stories. One day a group of friends decided that we should really see what it was all about, so we set out. We beat Holla on our first attempt. Since then I've personally taken 3 characters through them and that was pre-patch. I think they were probably the most annoying yes, but most satisfying battles to do in the game.

Yeah, they were a lot more fun when it was a challenge. You can basically solo all the way to the top now on just about any job which is pretty sad.. Stuff like that should always require a party / alliance. Sad to see how gimp the area is even while it is under a level cap.

Yeah I just watched that after you PM'd it to me. I really want to actually get my ass into gear and do some of the WotG storylines. The character animations look great, but so far I haven't been impressed with the tasks they have handed out to us.

Is that straight AF storyline footage, or from the actual WotG storyline?
