Quite an Unproductive Day
I never end up doing anything productive on days off do I? >///< My time wasting skills just keep improving.
I am not exactly sure why. But for some reason the county in which I live in gives us way too many days off school. I guess that's a good thing and a bad thing. Meh, whatever.
Today I had planned to get really artsy and finish a few things I'd stopped been working on. Somehow though, I ended up sitting around with my mother and her friend watching a bunch of old cassette tapes from my childhood in an attempt to convert them to dvds. At any rate, I can safely say that the camcorder my mom used to have was a piece of junk and labeling all of those tapes would have probably been a good idea.
We didn't get very far, but it's a work in progress. Why have VHS tapes become obsolete? ;_;
Watching me as a two year old dressed up in a little lion costume (Wizard of Oz theme ftw) for Halloween was pretty cute though I have to admit. Maybe not a total waste of time..
Anyway, it's been really strange not having any schoolwork for the past 4 days. Due to exams last week I didn't have any assignments.
I'm so used to procrastinating and doing everything last minute. Hah.. bad habit I know.
Friday, one of my best friends finally gave me the Christmas present she got for me in London. (I am still extremely jealous, New Years in London fkefhkjaleid Why am I too poor to travellll ;A;)
She got me some English breakfast tea :'D
I haven't tried it yet because to my disappointment there weren't any directions on the package so I wasn't sure how long I should steep it OTL
I'm sure I can just guess, but I've had bad experiences with green tea where I steeped it too long.. and it got really bitter and gross.
I am a lover of tea, but a novice when it comes to making it sometimes.
I've decided that even if it's crappy quality tea, I will still be happy because it came in this adorable little tin.
