anybody want to cotton on to the fact that Pietro is not signed up for any classes and has spent the last two weeks hanging out in his room and making a pest of himself?

FUCKIN' SONNETS we're reading some

and then we're DOING SOME

as a CLASS

that means you all get to argue about what the subject should be and how to make the rhymes and meter fit Jehan hopes you'll be mature about this

but I don't; I hope you all get in a big poetry fight

Zach tries his utmost to write sonnets to Draco with lots of florid Romantic turns of phrase and when that doesn't work he suggests THE OCCULT

as a metaphor

for Draco

Zach this is a classwide poetry composition exercise I think we should select a theme which is a little more universal than that

don't worry though love poems are happening soon

SO SOON

Joshua is not giving any of you a break because of kidnappings or snow. Sorry. Have an icon of Xion hugs instead.

Musical Composition:

Joshua doesn't trust you guys, so he's doing bare basics of composition- he gives you a bass line and a melody/soprano line, and you have to write in the alto and tenor parts. There are no rules for the first part of the week, second part he stops allowing parallel fifths and octaves. Which is actually much harder than it sounds.

Japanese History:

You get through the rest of Kofun, which basically involves the official unification of the country, and had heavy Chinese influences. And later the government was modeled after the Chinese system, and had samurai. And stuff. Joshua teaches it better than I do.

Music Comp: Yaaawn, Miku thinks this is too easy, and aces it.

Japanese History: Definitely stuff Miku's heard before, I'm sure, but she takes notes and pays attention.

EMMA:

ENGLISH: SENIORS read and discuss A Clockwork Orange. Reading responses are expected every two chapters. JUNIORS same deal with A Narrative in the Life of Frederick Douglass.

ESL: Read and analyze a short story.

ADVANCED TELEPATHY: Dismantling pyschic walls. There will be a lengthy discussion on booby traps and how to avoid them.

MENTOR GROUP: Invites you all for a brief discussion of the attack on the mansion. Cookies will be provided! We can log this if you like, it would be humorous.

ROGUE:

Rehearsals rehearsals rehearsals! The band will have gotten sheet music, so there is that.

NULL CLASS: Danger room exercises wherein you have to defend a given area from ninjas etc. You will be given progressively bigger areas as the week moves on, and on Thursday you will basically be playing capture the flag against each other. On Friday she takes you out for smoothies.

MENTOR GROUP: Movie and feelings night!

Storm: Having gone over the tribes of the South African region, you will now be focusing on the Zulu. Mathboxes books ( ... )

Oman Matt fails so hard at this at the beginning of the week, but he slowly learns as the week goes on and by the end, he's got some pretty decent skills at defending his area. This may also be because he practices whenever he can get into the danger room. He probably asks Rogue for extra time.

He loves the smoothies mmmmn.

Maureen will be focusing on breathing techniques and basic stretches and poses still. This will continue all week. If you need help, as always, she is available for private lessons.

I'm not sure if Al is actually in this class or if he just shows up. Anyway, he's still hanging around, and actually doing the poses because if he does them and there is a problem Maureen might correct the pose which is a BONUS.

Maureen's totally cool with this. She doesn't keep a running tab on who takes the class anyways, since it's mostly just a free for all if you want to come work out type class.

Of course she'll correct the pose! She's very concerned with her students doing things right and will work with them until it's perfect... >>a

I'm actually having two of mine in this, gasp and shock, right?

Eliza will probably actually show up only with intent to make herself more flexible for weaponry uses and stress relief in the wanting to murder someone department. She'll deny any and all hands-on help, probably.

Kabuto is actually not doing this because of the teacher. :|a And he'll probably also deny any hands-on help as he is not a touchy-feely person and does not like to be touched. He'll be polite about it, at least? But I'd think he's fairly good at picking up on how each pose is supposed to work.
