One of my biggest concerns re: coming back online has to do with all of the aforementioned aspects to online interaction. I know that Tone, Topics, Role-Playing, & Activism all may seem pretty broad, but bear with me

I'm with you about activism. It's unfortunate how often it turns into proselytization, even if the intentions began well and the cause is good.
I am not an activist. I did a lot of that in my late teens, but it's not who I am anymore. Though I wouldn't rule out ever participating in such activity again, I won't be initiating it and most often won't engage. But I do support activists, as long as they don't get in my face pointlessly. I feel that most people should do something to "better the world" in some way, but that this can be accomplished through all sorts of means - for instance, I do my spiritwork and I try to help others in various spiritual communities, and that's where my priorities lie right now. Not everyone can be an activist, not everyone can be a monk, not everyone can be a social worker. It takes all types.
You are activist. You just don't want to be informed in your activism. Every purchase you make is an endorsement of ideology.
...
But, then there's also a bit of this lurking under that observation: "I try very hard to not be a pushy dick to others" - e.g., by pointing out that you cannot avoid being activist I could be construed as behaving like a pushy dick. Socrates got criticized for that too, didn't he?
This is quite a flood of content from you! It's enjoyable to share in your thoughts and reflections!
"I guess a big part of my problem with people who are more Active in their Activism is the very common and obvious thread of Judge-Mentalism that runs throughout Activism."
This may work as a personal rationale, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's coherent or logical.
You are 'Active in your activism' every time you buy a pair of shoes, go out to eat, and purchase a video game. What you really seem to be rejecting here is an openness to being called out for what you're doing. That's the judgement you seem to have the greatest antipathy towards. Yet without judgment there is no intelligence, so how you can frame a worldview without judgement is beyond me. Having others judge you isn't bad friend behaviour. Indeed, in a Platonic frame, the only virtuous friends you ever meet will judge you and push you to embody your ideal - which, for them, would fundamentally be an 'activist' worldview

It probably isn't. And that's perfectly fine with me.

To those who choose to view it through this lens, I am sure you are correct.
What you really seem to be rejecting here is an openness to being called out for what you're doing.
What I am really rejecting here is an openness to being Labeled and/or Judged by others for what I'm doing. My feeling is that I am a grown muthufuckin' man. I make my Choices because I fucking CAN. I don't hurt people in Life, I Live my Life as I Desire for the many Intents I've written about here, and bring a lot of great things to a great many people in my Role as Counselor. People who pressure, push, cajole, infringe upon, belittle, pester, molest, tarry, annoy, torment, plague, worry, badger, harry, heckle, persecute, irk, bullyrag, vex, disquiet, grate, beset, bother, or nettle me will

The memetic construct also interchanges very deeply with energy. I tend to see "see" many of the memes moving, and they take on lighter, darker, murkier, and clearer "colors/textures". Some feel "clean", some feel "dirty" etc

We talked quite a bit, last time I was actually able to steal you for a few, about information being food, and energy flows. Choosing what things make you feel healthy, and ditching the rest, is always a good plan.
Yup. It's about knowing my own personal preferences & strengths, and holding Boundaries where I feel unHealthy Influences. The Role of Activist is vital to the Progress of our Society, and one I Value, even as I personally avoid it.
But I'm almost always eager to jump in and Play the Role of Counselor, which is also vital to a Healthy Society :-D
