Really? The idea is sickening. We aren't criminals by nature and nor should we be treated as such. We're not a group that needs to be reigned in or registered. If or when they register mutants, what's to say that they wouldn't start picking and choosing ones for other purposes? Or seeking out and destroying 'dangerous' one to 'protect' humans? It's a slippery slope and one that would lead to more than just aiding the police.
This may not be my country, but I'm sure it would grow to affect more than just the States. I think it's an issue for everyone, not just Americans though.
