Well, apparently I'm supposed to use one of these things to introduce myself.
So, hi. I'm John Sheppard, and I'm your new Chief of Security. I've been told this means I'm going to be pretty busy. I... have a feeling I'm going to spend a long time catching up.
Can't say this place is much like home, but I'm not complaining. Just arrived from Antarctica, and I have to say the weather is a lot nicer here. I've been told that some of you might be interested in some self defense classes since the teacher is currently not available. Drop me a line and... Well, we can work something out. I can't promise anything cool like.. lasers or fireballs, but hand to hand combat is still very important. Anyway. I'm... sure we can all get to know each other. It'll be fun.
