Well, well, well, Mutant High. Did you miss me? It's been a while, but don't you worry. I'm back and I'm here to stay.
Looks like you guys got busy once 2010 kicked in - you know what they say, every new year is ripe for new scandals, regrets and mistakes, but the juiciest little incidents happened right at the end of term. Our school staff have really been turning up the heat lately; special colleague relations rules for a special school?
Let's start with a one Warren Worthington III, who has previously been connected to fellow colourful staff members Angela Montenegro and Aimery de Courfeyrac has started to move on- to Pepper Potts. Ms. Potts was spotted being whisked off from the end of term staff party in Mr. Worthington's arms, and they definitely weren't headed back to the school. A little bit risque for such a classy lady, don't you think?
And the list doesn't end there. Next we have Turanga Leela, who Mr. Worthington's been having interesting relations with - in his awfully expensive car, no less. Clearly Mr. Worthington is pretty flexible with his standards. Just to keep the love scribble going, who could miss Ms. Leela making eyes at Han Solo every chance she gets?
The excitement of the staff party continues - our very own frosty deputy head, Emma Frost was making the fairly new staff member Émile Combeferre feel very welcome by inviting him for a game of tonsil hockey. While it looked like the uptight lady in white might have warmed up to him lately, a fairly angry exit from the doctor's office means things might not be all that hot between them. Could the icy Ms. Frost have some competition?
Speaking of French boys, another one of our newest staff additions, Damien Bahorel, was seen getting busy with our new yoga teacher, Maureen Johnson. Get this - only half an hour before Ms. Johnson's first class of the new term. Maybe Mr. Bahorel needed a few breathing exercises, but I bet they didn't do Ms. Johnson too many favours.
But the teachers aren’t the only ones churning out the drama. Looks like students enjoy fooling around just as much as the faculty.
SPOTTED: Juliet van Heusen and Paulie Bleeker getting a little friendly at a local New Year’s Party. Didn’t she tell him she had a boyfriend? In any case, we’ll have to tip our hats to Bleeker; we didn’t know he had it in him.
Speaking of boyfriends: seems the most ironically named of our student body has been sneaking around with Mr. Worthington’s protege. But if you haven’t heard that Buttercup Utonium and Iggy are an item by now - well, that’s what we’re here for.
And what about should-be boyfriends? Looks like time-traveller Algernon Lacey been spending a little too much time with our resident manwhore Maxxie Oliver. Not even pneumonic germs could keep the promiscuous blond from spending countless hours by A’s bedside, and their not-so-subtle roll in the hay during this weeks fire drill didn’t leave much to the imagination. I thought you had to be subtle about things like that back in 1918 - looks like A’s fitting right into the 21st Century, and who better to show him how it’s done?
But all is not right. There’s trouble in more than one paradise, it seems. Remember Elizaveta and Gilbert? Well, one of them finally made a move, but neither of them seemed to mind that she had a boyfriend at the time. Poor little Roderich Edelstein was so distraught, he managed to make three new friends at that New Year’s Party we mentioned earlier. At least he bounces back quickly.
And finally, we can’t go without mentioning one last broken heart. After breaking up with Lovino Vargas - for ex-student Kaoru Hitachiin - Matthew Williams took his sweet time discovering that his little romance was nothing more than a little game for K. I guess he’s going to regret things turning sour between him and his Italian stud.
