HEY BROTHERHOOD PEOPLE
IT'S GENOSHA TIME! SOON. I know we made a volunteers post earlier but we've had a few changes of plan since then SO THIS IS HOW IT IS GOING TO GO DOWN THIS WEEKEND:
There are going to be two threads for this thing.
One of them - the first one - is going to be a group of Bros that have been specifically picked for their task.
The other will be everyone else who wants to join in, and will happen a little bit later.
THE PLAN: The first group will sneak across the Genoshan countryside to escort Layer (Lain) to a point within the island where she can use her technopathic abilities to hack into the computer hub that controls the power inhibitors worn by Genosha's slaves (this is of course so that someone can turn a big dial to cause every slave on the island to be in enormous pain, or something like that, shut up, it is practical). Apart from Lain, this group will contain: The Operative, Flicker (Matthew), Oricalcon (Zidane) and Hope (Faith).
The second group will blend in with crowds in Hammer Bay, Genosha's capital city, and wait for a signal from the first group - when the signal is given, they will start making trouble, making as much of a spectacle of using their mutant powers as possible. IF YOU ARE WONDERING WHY: this is so that when the first group switches off the power inhibitors and supernatural abilities are granted once again to the Genoshan slaves, they'll have an example to follow.
Amidst all the confusion, Magneto will show up, on the shoulder of Lung Tien Lien, tell Genosha its new master has arrived, and lead the freed slaves to victory against their oppressors.
SUPPOSEDLY. (DISCLAIMER: it will not go quite according to plan and some people will probably die. EDIT: WE ARE NOT GOING TO KILL ANYONE OFF DO NOT WORRY if you're dropping a brotherhood character or something and you WANT to have them die now is a good time to tell us but ASIDE FROM THAT there will be no PC death)
SO
we need about four or five people, Lain excepted, for the first group. They need to be either sneaky or fighty or both, and to a certain degree trustworthy and competent. VOLUNTEERS?
OKAY WE GOT 'EM room for maybe one more
The second group will not be a group so much a party thread. Anyone who wants to can be in on that one (and anybody who wants to claim their character was in it after the fact can do that too) - the only actual volunteer we need for that ahead of time is someone who we can assume to be in contact with group one and who has some kind of big conspicuous aspect of their mutant power (big flashy lights/fire/noise/something) that will serve well as a signal for the rest of them to start. FAILING THAT, they can just blow a whistle or something, but A BIG FLASHY DISPLAY OF MUTANT POWERS would be the best!
Obviously fighting will happen - anyone without offensive mutant powers is free to assume they have been armed by Fox (Rush), who's been putting together some weaponry for you guys.
Finally, we'd like to know who all in the Brotherhood has powers that involve force fields in any way. Seriously ANYONE WHO HAS THEM IN ANY CAPACITY we want to know about it. Just to keep a list.
