Matthew really hoped this time things would go more smoothly. He took his time saving and picking up his things, a little nervous. He was sure things couldn't go so badly twice in a row, right? He hoped. Al wouldn't keep his promise for very long if things did go badly.
The walk from the library was slow as half the students tried to go one way and the other half, the other, but he made it to his room eventually and opened the door.
"Hello?" He put on his best 'do-not-eat-me' smile and shut the door behind him.
