The last few weeks had been less than peaceful for Thomas. It'd taken a long time to figure things out with Harry (his brother, some little incredulous part of Thomas' mind continued to echo), and while Thomas doubted they would ever be close, he was pretty sure Harry wasn't going to punch him in the face again.
Well, not without warning, at least.
So, with his mind full of family ties and sudden imagined fears and responsibilities, it wasn't until a few hours into his shift that Thomas noticed he was the only one working. A call to Feuilly's cell phone was routed straight to voicemail. Thomas frowned at his phone, perplexed, until he remembered Feuilly's friend, Bahorel. A slow grin spread over Thomas' face and he shook his head. If his straight laced co-worker was finally out having some fun, he wasn't about to spoil the party.
Without another thought, Thomas went back to making coffee.
