[Have a child sized Prince running toward the lake and tripping over his feet. He is very top heavy with that head of his!]

[Falling child? Ohnoes! Even depressing cannot stop her natural desire to help! Ami to the rescue!]

Are you alright?

[pushes himself up and dusts his clothes off]

Yes! I am fine. I'm very used to getting knocked over. [even if that being knocked over came from tripping over a rock]

Are you here to look at the fish of the great deep ocean too?

[points to the lake]

Ahh... [glancing at the "ocean" with a confused look.]

That's a lake, though it does have some lovely fish in it...

[Practicing on his surfer certainly helps clear Jim's head. He'd been trying out some new tricks while trying to get the hang of flying it. He hadn't been out over the lake at all, but the surfer was starting to get thirsty. Can't have that happen, and so Jim lands his board, and then carries it a little ways over towards the lake. He's smiling as he starts to refill the water tanks, and so he takes a step back and looks the board over, until he sees a girl not very far away. Wonder if anything's wrong, he walks over to her.]

Hey... you alright?

[Hey, wait... is this the girl that gave him some cookies a while back?]

[Yup, she's the one! Though they some how never traded names way back then.

Ami looks up from wherever it was she was staring, trying to force a smile but failing miserably.]

Hello again. I'm alright...

[That's something that will have to be rectified, then!]

[Jim shows concern as he walks over to her, he glances behind himself for a quick moment, (His board should be fine as it is) then back to her.]

You don't look it. Something wrong?

[Ami shakes her head, but she still can't seem to force much more than a downcast look.]

Just thinking...

[Ryoga could have sworn he left the cafeteria just a moment ago, so how did he end up outside? Uh oh... Wasn't that the lake? He makes a quick about face to head far, far away from the water hazard, and almost trips over a girl he hadn't even seen the first time he passed her.]

Excuse me! I'm terribly sorry; I didn't see you there.

[She's holding a book, but she's not reading it right now, and she looks kind of sad.]

Are you okay?

[He doesn't think he actually ran into her, but sometimes the durability makes it so he doesn't notice slight impacts.

[She looks vaguely familiar, even though he's sure he's never met her. The truth is, he's probably seen her on the news or something, but Ryoga's exposure to the media in general is spotty at best. He's a bit of a pop culture blank slate.]

[He didn't run in to her, no, but his sudden appearance does surprise her just enough to elicit a quiet yelp from the girl.

Once he apologizes, though, she just shakes her head, trying to put on a shy smile but failing to even do that.]

It's alright. I'm fine.

[Now that Ryoga takes a good look at her, he can tell she's not in physical pain. There's an awkward moment of silence as Ryoga tries to decide whether he should try talking to her or just leave her alone. In the end, he decides that at the very least, introducing himself is only polite.]

My name is Ryoga.

[He wishes he could read her expression better, but he figures that if she wants him to go away, she'll say so. He looks back to the book.]

What are you reading?

Ami Mizuno. Nice to meet you, Ryoga-san...

[she glances at the book for a second, actually trying to remember what she even brought out with her.]

Ahh... "As You Like It". I thought a little comedy might cheer me up...

[obviously it's not working]

Ami wasn't only one having a problem. Kaito skipping his work by hanging out around the lake, and he suddenly noticed her sat by the shore. He approached closer and stretched his arm. Looking at her face, she's definitely down, which Kaito trying to avoid that.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?"

His hands on his hips, stared at the calm lake as he tried to have a conversation with her.

She wasn't really expecting anyone else out there, so hearing Kaito's voice makes her jump a little. The surprise only lasts for a second, though, and she just barely manages a tiny smile at his comment.

"It is."

Kaito frowned, that answer was kinda weak. At least he knew she needs a company to talk to, and so he was. He sat down about few meters away from her and started to throw tiny stones into the lake.

"If I knew there's a lake here, I would skip my job and have a nap." He joked a little, although he's honest about it.

That earns a little more of an earnest smile and a nod in agreement.

"It is very relaxing out here."

[This boy need to get active too. And Ami being sad makes him sad. And because her nose isn't buried in that book, he knows something is wrong.]
