Time: after the Lapgate thread
Content: Al SULKS. Matt INVESTIGATES.

Warnings: maybe language? Also Al with his splintered hand and leg
[Al is sitting on his bed, cross-legged with the bleeding foot dangling off the edge. He's put newspapers under it to stop from getting the room messy as he works on pulling splintered wood and broken nails from it. He'd finished with his hand already, and that was messily bandaged to keep himself from making even more of a mess.
He's trying his hardest not to think about anything, and just focuses on the sound of the debris falling to the floor as he succeeds in pulling each piece out.
It doesn't really hurt anymore.]
