1. On December 26, 2003 TVXQ was born.
2. Changmin once started a fire in their apartment. After approximately five minutes of mindless freaking out, Junsu, surprisingly, was the one to put it out.
3. When Jaejoong injured his leg, they’d all been worried, even Jaejoong. For a brief moment, it had been more about their careers than Jaejoong’s health. Four of them felt guilty afterward.
4. Jaejoong once set up a Christmas tree in May. Their schedules had been too busy to celebrate in December, so they woke up at five in the morning on May 17 and gathered around Jaejoong’s tree to open their presents. They took pictures and laughed and enjoyed their first real Christmas together. Two months later, they celebrated New Years.
5. When Yoochun first cried, none of them knew what to do. Eventually, it was Changmin who embraced him and held him until his tears ebbed.
6. When Yunho was poisoned, they all forgot about their careers. All they could think of was finding the girl who was responsible and making her pay.
7. Junsu’s broken voice is a taboo subject.
8. Changmin almost ran away once when he thought he couldn’t take it anymore: the stardom and the lack of privacy and the busy schedules. He’d packed his wallet and his most nondescript clothing and was halfway out of the door when he saw Yunho napping on the sofa. He’d kneeled down then and traced the contours of Yunho’s face, trying to memorize every stress line, every frown, every smile, before he decided that he never wanted to forget.
9. Junsu locked himself in the bathroom once when he was upset with Yoochun. Nothing they said could get Junsu to unlock the doors. Four hours later, when their schedule demanded it, Junsu emerged from the bathroom looking exactly as he had when he entered.
10. Jaejoong once threw Yunho’s favorite shirt out of the window in retaliation for Yunho “accidentally” breaking his cell phone. The fangirls descended on it like hell hounds, and Yoochun had to bribe them with his autograph, group pictures and front row concert tickets to their next concert just for them to give it back.
11. Changmin always wins.
12. Yunho had only ever cried around his members.
13. Going to Japan was the hardest thing any of them had to do. None of them really laughed when they found Changmin talking to his shoe, and they’d secretly appreciated Junsu’s oyagi gags.
14. Yoochun’s family could not come to their first concert. Backstage, the other members played “house” and pretended to be his family.
15. When Yunho says his favorite number is five, Junsu says his is six, one for each of the members, plus another for the soul of TVXQ.
16. Yoochun plays the piano when he is happy. Inversely, Junsu plays it when he is sad. Changmin does not like to play the piano.
17. There are ten minutes in every day that they reserve for problem-solving.
18. Junsu once threw his PS2 controller against the wall. He wasn’t playing a game. Changmin replaced it the next day.
19. Like clockwork, Jaejoong makes kimchi jjigae every other week. Changmin is always waiting religiously at the table for it to be finished.
20. In another life, they’d never do anything different.
