Some lady in downtown Phoenix pushed me out of my lane today as we were coming to a red light. Yeah, there's a horn but it's one of those lame ones. My bike has an aftermarket exhaust on it and honestly, it's a lot louder than the horn when not idling.

Thing is, I don't think she put it together. I think she just thought I was some random guy trying to get in front of her and being a dick about it so odds are she didn't really learn anything from it.

I'm all about proper placement on the roads though in order to avoid these kinds of situations.

my exhaust is a lot louder than my stock horn and i do the same thing. at least the person realized you were there and maybe recognized her mistake. i've revved at people angrily and gotten not even a glance.

i bought an aftermarket horn and plan to install it soon.

that would be assuming i give a fuck what people think of me. my only goal is to get someone's attention who otherwise isn't paying any attention. i couldn't care less if they think i'm showing off (or if they think i'm an asshole for that matter), as long as i'm alive to bitch about it in my livejournal later.
