The Most Tastiest Delicious Dream There Ever Was

Jul 05, 2008 10:22

I just woke up from a dream concerning food and now I really want bbq.

It all started with a group of people gathering (mostly Tech people. People who were there or could have been there: Stephen, Val, Ashley, Nick, Brian, random Chinese people, my mom).

We ended up boarding a bus and riding it a ways out into the boonies. I ended up having a discussion with Nick about a person he fancied and suggested that he go vacationing with them. Unfortunately, the trip would cost an arm and a leg, but whatever.

So we end up at our destination, which turns out to be a....well, it was the like the mountain tourist areas in Taiwan. Except this was mostly lined with food vendors instead of souvenir shops.

Anyways, so we walk a bit down (along the way, saw a delicious ramen shop) and we come across this huge, like Wal-Mart looking shop (the size of the building looked like the Wal-Mart located at Fair Lakes) that proclaimed itself to be "Wu Mei's" or something. I can't remember the name. Turns out this was the place we were going to be eating dinner and staying at for the night.

As we walked in, we were greeted with a huge as buffet of Chinese food. Walking further in we saw people out on a patio cooking up fresh bbq. The place was three story affair. Two stories dedicated to eating and the last third floor dedicating to lodging (for people to sleep off the itis).

It was freaking amazing and the food looked delicious.

We tried to find a place where everyone could sit together, but ended up separating (my mom ended up sitting where she first found a seat).

We started eating, but part ways through I ended up wandering away and exploring the upstairs. As I was peaking into the darken hallway, the railing that was supporting me (that lined the wall) fell loose. I panicked, but screwed it back into the wall. One of the people who worked there came back and investigated what was wrong. I told him and what I had done and he was pleasantly surprised that I managed to fix id that far. I left to go back to dinner, but by that time food was not being prepared anymore.

*sadface

And then I woke up to write this post and now am sad because there may or may not exist a place like in my dream, but I'll never know.

And I want bbq now.
