I always get ideas for character designs, but when it comes to finalizing and doing line clean up, I always end up loosing motivation (oddly enough, I do enjoy coloring). Also, I'm really bad at shading the body, but I'm pretty good at doing facial shading off the top of my head.
I ended up staying up from 11-1 doodling last night. Thumbnail sketches are really nifty, but I'm afraid of forgetting what the original idea is mostly because they look like squiggly lines.
