I'm not afraid, just not easily satisfied with my attempts at creativity. Writing fiction pretty much goes against my core nature. Plots are easy. Execution is not. If I can trim these eight pages to three, I believe I'll be in good shape to proceed. This is the hardest part because this background is the thesis statement for the entire piece. If I start wrong, the piece will fall apart.

Mika and Raizo will get put through the ringer because I'm bringing them to Japan *shudder*. Every character I've ever worked with has had to 我慢　(endure).
