dammit. you posted while i'm at work, and i can't read it because there are only three of us and i haven't gotten to sit down for more than 1 full minute straight yet today and dammit, I WANT TO READ THIS NOW!!! but i have to be patient. um. good things come yadda yadda, right?

You know, in all of the fic I've read in this fandom, a lot of it has been angsty "how Brian and Justin deal (or not) with the bashing" type stuff. And after reading so much of it, it's hard to come at it from a different angle or put a fresh spin on it. So when you introduced the possibility of this rehashing, I wasn't exactly jazzed, but I was willing to see where you were going with it. I'm glad my initial reservations were proved wrong. First, I like the whole thing with Daphne wanting to interview them for her research thingy. It's easy to forget that Daphne was part of that night too because we didn't see here there right when the bashing happened. It affected her as much as everyone else in their group, probably only second to Jennifer and Brian. I like the way you're approaching this with Daphne initiating things--it's something that's not as common as other methods/devices used in other stories. Second, the part where Brian actually heard Justin talking about the bashing in the radio interview was very moving and ( ... )

I didn't know whether to laugh, cry or get all excited over the sex. I think I did all of those while reading.

I love to read anything where Brian shows his true emotions. Because I know that even though he acts like a tough guy with his I don't care attitude, he so does. And he loves his Justin so much it hurts.

Wonderful chapter as always!
