Only person in my 11 person department who made it into the office today.

I'm kind of surprised -- all I had to do was walk a half mile on each side of the bus. It was a little more time-consuming than usual, but only by a smidgen. Buses along major routes were fine.

I guess that's not so bad I was one of two people from my entire department to make it in today. The lead of the entire test department, and me. We talked about not a whole lot, and, I'm going home in a few. GL!

last I checked there were half a dozen busses stuck on east bound 45th in the U-district. I suspect that *mostly* things are fine for careful travelers, but all it takes is one problem to make things go badly for a whole lot of folks.

Wow... I would've thought that would be a priority for plows. Hell, they keep plowing Western Blvd. outside my window here, and that's been clear since I got here.

It doesn't really look like anything in the U-district has been plowed. 45th looks *way* better now than it did earlier today, but I think its just because of traffic since I don't see any giant lumps of moved snow on the side of the street.

You're also on a major street, which are pretty ok for the most part. The side streets, however, are most definitly not. Personally, I want a pair of snowshoes if this is staying around.

yeah, Gwen's a bit worried -- if we don't get a fair bit of melt, I'm not sure how the hell we're getting our cars out of their little snow cradles to come down there Wednesday.

Gwen's car should be ok, given a bit of work. Mine is another, much sadder story, as I'm on a side street.

Wade's been making it back and forth to work (ask him about that story, it's pissing me off), so there may be some way to get you here. I'm worried that Katy's flight will be delayed or diverted, seeing as she's supposed to arrive about the same time tomorrow as the next storm. So far it's coming in on time, but I'm set up to be notified via email if something happens. And, of course, we still don't know if Wade will be working.

Being that my folks live on Finn Hill and they always get a ton of snow, my mom called me this morning to tell me that she's postponing Christmas until Sunday so the roads are somewhat more clear for travel.
