Summary: Mizukawa Akina is a 13 years old popular girl of Kaname Junior High School. Akina comes from a very well known family of businessmen and lawyers. She’s pretty and cute, rich but is not spoiled, very athletic and is very intelligent. She also receives a lot of confessions every day, but she didn’t answer either one of them. She doesn’t even have an interest in love. One day, her life totally changed when she met a bunch of Ikemen [good-looking guys] on her birthday. See how her life changes as she starts to befriend these bunch of Ikemen and how she starts to fall in love!

CHAPTER 1- Gomen...
=====================
“Sugoi, Akina-chan! You got another confession letter?! Uwaa~ I wish I could even get at least one…” her bestfriend, Yui, said as she sat on her chair sulking.
“Oh, Yui-chan~ Don’t be like that! It’s really hard for me, you know…” Akina tried to comfort Yui who gets really depressed everytime her bestfriend receives a confession.
“Why is it hard for you? You should be grateful instead~! AND, when are you going to answer even one of them?!” Yui said as she looked up to Akina with a serious look. “Don’t tell me you’re going to reject all of them AGAIN?!” she added.
“Okay, I’m going to answer all of your questions. One, it’s hard for me because I’m not interested in any of them. You don’t know the reason why they confessed. Maybe they’ll just use me or something. Two, I’m going to promise you that I’m not answering any confessions except if the person that confessed to me is someone that I really like. To the extent that I want to marry him. And three, yes. I’m going to reject all of them!” Akina explained as she read the letters. Yui then made her voice sound like a child and said,
“Hai, hai~ Same as always, you’re going to meet them after school and tell them, ‘ I’m sorry, but I can’t accept your feelings for now. I’m not yet ready for a commitment. I’m very sorry. Thank you for confessing. Anyways, we can hang out sometime but not as couples. Only friends.’ and then give them a kiss on the cheeks.” Yui said as she looked at Akina and gave her a grin. Akina looked at her with a confused look and said,
“You know, it’s really amazing that you get to memorize my lines faster than our LESSONS.” and gave Yui a smirk.
“Shut up! I really hate you!!” Yui pouted and turned her back on Akina. Conscience took over Akina’s heart and finally says sorry.
“Aw~ Yui-chan~ Gomen ne… I didn’t really mean it like that. Gomen~!” Akina then patted her bestfriend’s back.
“You always say that whenever you say sorry!” Yui pouted even more and was almost teary eyed. Akina gave a sigh and said,
“Yui-chan~ You know, there’s a sale till midnight at Shibuya 109~ Since we don’t have classes tomorrow, we can go. You want to go shopping later? It’s my treat! Just forgive me, okay?” and comforted her again. From a pouting and teary eyed person, Yui looked at Akina with wide open eyes and excitingly said,
“Are you dead serious?!”
“Yep~ Just forgive me.” Akina smiled. Yui stood up and took Akina’s hand which made her stand up and happily said,
“You’re the best friend that I ever had! Thank you!” and hugged her. Akina hugged her back. A few minutes later, the bell rang.
“Ah! Yui-chan, the teacher’s coming any minute now. Better go back to your seat.”
“A-Hai! Thanks again, A-ki-na-cha~n!”
Yui is only 3 seats from the side apart from Akina, so they rarely talk during class hours…even if the teacher is out for a bit. A few hours later, it was already lunch time. As usual, Akina and Yui ate their lunch together.
“Ne, Yui-chan.”
“Doushitano?” Yui said with a mouthful.
“I was thinking…can we go visit some of the boys who gave a letter today?”
“Sure! How? Are we going to visit them in their classroom?” Yui ate her lunch as if she was in a hurry. Akina thought for a while and decided to not reject them in a crowd. Ever since, Akina never thought of humiliating someone in a crowd.
“You know Akina-chan, you’re a really good person as ever! You really care about others’ feelings even though you reject them. So how do you plan on meeting them? And where? Gochisousama!” Yui said as she finished her lunch.
“Well…I can meet them at the rooftop one by one. Want some?” Akina said while she offered Yui some of her lunch.
“No thank you~ I’m already full. Ah, you know, about the rooftop idea thingy, I think it’s not a really good idea.”
“Why do you think so?” and continued eating her lunch.
“It’s so tiring to go up and down the stairs! And to think that you need to bring a lot of guys up there as much as possible is very tiring!” Yui exclaimed as she looked at Akina as if she was going to melt her with those fiery eyes.
“Stop looking at me with those eyes! They creep me out! Anyways, I think it’s a good exercise after eating lunch~ To tell you the truth, climbing the stairs is actually like going to hell for me. I always say to myself, ‘ Welcome to hell, baby!’ every time I need to climb at least 3 floors.”
