i personally think every band you just listed is terrible. except eisley... that cd is actually decent. didn't expect that did ya? haha.
there's maybe one good song on that new transplants cd. i can't get into the rest though.
i have some bright eyes posters and a 7" for you from my work. they're too big to mail though. so you'll just have to come home and get em. haha
and i know you're not into much new hardcore... but check out modern life is war's album witness. it's quickly becoming one of my favorite albums of all time
yeah dude and modern life is war had a huge ad in the magazing too.....but theirs was actually ok so i was going to call you and tell you that cuz i know you like them, and im ok with them, i like what ive heard before
you should definitely check out their new album. go look at my last journal entry... i typed the lyrics to the first song. how fitting is that to me? haha
speaking of AP... i just grabbed the newest copy (the transplants cover) the other day, and they gave the new seventh star cd a horrible review!!! im so pissed. they said they were from the west coast, that they are doing nothing original at all since hatebreed, and that the lyrics are all cliche "stabbed in the back" types... the band is from florida, its probably the most original and refreshing hardcore cd of the year, and the lyrics are all about problems in the church, and keeping strong in your beliefs (except the one song that makes FUN of hardcore cliches and how lame the scene is now). those losers need to cut their hair, take off their girls jeans and YL taking back sunday teeshirts, starting talking to their parents again, open up the shades on their windows, turn off nightmare before christmas, and listen to REAL hardcore (and actually listen to the cd/read the lyrics before they review a cd)
dude thats the issue im talking about, seriouly the people making that issue must be tools....andd they put the bright eyes lifted cd as like a good cd to listen to when your getting over being depressed....but come on those lyrics are so depressing on like half the songs....i mean come on they should have at least put the come back kit turn it around album on there or something, that album always makes everyone happy yyyeeaahhhh dood...anyway i still want the new seventh star
