Actually, I really haven't got a problem with this. If there's an unsolved murder open and all they know about the guy who did it is he had a beard, they're gonna pull me over for questioning before they pull my roommate over. And I'm fine with that. If it means that I, my family, my friends, are safer because they catch this guy sooner, I'm absolutely fine with that.

There's people in the world who want us dead, and a lot of them are Muslim. It's unfair that other Muslims get singled out because of that, I fully agree, but I'll take that over being blown up any day.

Besides, it's a friggin air duct. Do you have any idea what five guys could do by an air duct if they wanted to? Seriously, I'd like to buy those FBI guys a beer.

OK, my roommate, who has been to more public venues recently than I have, just pointed out that you'd have a hard time congregating not near an air duct. I was envisioning something central that you'd have to, you know, go looking for, so my bad there.

Anywho, my general argument in favor of profiling still stands.
