Napa Valley? We never made it up there in spite of talking about it, and it would make sense for one of us to see it and your dad can go on a wine buying splurge.
Napa's really a trip in itself. I'll have to arrange to go there at some point. Yosemite, too. But I don't think that will happen this time. We've only got two days, really.
If you like meat, the House of Prime Rib is amazing for dinner. Don't know if you sew or have an unusual love of fabrics but there is Britex for fabrics (3 or 4 story fabric+ shop). Have you checked out Angel Island yet? it was the Chinese/Japanese version of Ellis Island for the past century, also used as a detainment facility before allowing people into the U.S. hmmm, and on your way back down here have you checked out Hearst Castle in San Simeon before?
We went to Hearst Castle on Thursday, which was FANTASTIC. (And we had dinner at Napenthe's in Big Sur on the drive back up!)
Actually, it was an exhibit on Angel Island at Hearst Castle that sparked the idea for this San Francisco trip, so Angel Island is definitely on the agenda. Great ideas, though!
Don't know much about the Bay Area...zzyzxxJune 28 2004, 23:02:13 UTC
I have only been to SF a couple of times so I don't know much about the area. If you are going further up north, like Seattle, I might have some recommendations!:) Glad to hear you're having a good time! I visited my grandparents (on my father's side) yesterday so that was nice. Enjoy the area!

I am so sorry for the delay - somehow, I just got notified of these comments how.
the 4 pictures on that page that have names (as opposed to DSCF...) are the ones I picked and photoshopped to be the way I want them to look. I told stacy that I'd do a couple more - you guys just have to confer and tell me which couple you want me to spend time photoshopping.
I'll give you all the original files on cd and the photoshop-finished ones as well once I get back to LA.
hard copies are haveable, but I'm sure you'd rather do them yourselves. I've had excellent results getting digital prints from costco - like prints I've given to modeling agencies kind of quality. I can help with that more once I'm back in town (mid septemberish?).
I be very well
