Sorry I've been so quiet in here over the last few days. I've been repainting my room. I've finished the walls, the ceiling, and have now started on the woodwork. It's looking really good ( Read more... )

hmm, this sounds like you don't actually like Welsh folk music, but that you put up with it because it was him?

Living in Wales and being subjected to Eisteffods and Saturday night tv from a barn with Welsh folk singers, i imagine a lot of Welsh folk music would need a Bryn Terfel to make it listenable. Mae Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau sung at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff though is just wonderful.

I love folk music, Welsh music included. I also adore his voice, so the combination of the two made it that much better.

Sure, and I would love to save you from a day of painting, but the Pacific Ocean is a big puddle to swim across... and I have a feeling you can't get me dirt cheap tickets at the moment...

I have been trying to clean my house here in Japan, too. Today we fumed the living room.
