Parents are to blame god dammit

I know numerous children and their parents, who do not get along. Just like my mom and I. T- for instance. (im trying to let them remain as nameless as possible without it getting confusing) T's dad has a huge problem screaming that T is worthless. T wants to cry whenever their Dad says these things. Agreed. For the most part. Except that I think that at some point, it's up to the child (or adult in my case... technicly) to pick up the slack where their parents fail. So my dad's a lazy, unorganized slob and up untill this point I too have been a lazy, unorganized slob, but I can't sit here and say, "Hey Dadio, go back in time for me and be less of a loser so I turn out good, kthx." Nope, I have to 'unlearn' what I've been 'programmed' to know and how to act. Of course you basicly said that in the last couple of sentances, but I guess I just thought I'd reitterate it and go a little more 'indepth' with it. But overall my point can be summed up into a sentance, "Blaming others only renders yourself powerless and resistant to positive change."
