In the stalls of the ladies' room on my floor, there are signs for women with bulimia and depression to sign up for a campus study. In one of the stalls, someone moved the sign from its original location on the back of the door, to the the wall just above the toilet

That's pretty funny. Of course bulimia is no laughing matter. I've known a couple of women who were bulimic, and it's a pretty disturbing condition.

That said, perhaps the high price of food and accompanying shortage of staples will reduce bulimia to some extent. You see? Every dark cloud has a silver lining.

I can envision diet companies and the health industry lobbying for government food subsidies to keep food prices low, however, to protect their interests. Or don't you think people are that hungry for green?
