We got a pasta machine week-before-last. (I'd asked Poppy to keep an eye out at the swap shack for one- I wanted a simple one for polymer clay play- but he brought home this big electric fancy schmancy one.) The boys have been loving it. It is a lot of fun, though the clean up isn't. Still, for free (or cheap, if you include the egg, flour, and oil costs), you can't beat it.

Hmmmm... I was thinking of getting rid of my machine because I never use it. Maybe I'll keep it and give it a whirl with Ruth. After the holidays. :)

Introduce them to sugar cookies next. Also play-doh like, and they can actually muck around and make cutouts and decorate things. (They'll just have to be patient while it refrigerates.)

Cookie dough, they inhale the second they get a chance. Actually, that pronoun should be "we." Ben is the only one who can wait.
