I (finally) went to the Post Office today to mail the care package to Aleksei that's been sitting on the dining room table and/or kitchen counter for, like, a month. (An aside: Aleksei reports this week that "the PX is fully stocked with Doritos and feminine hygiene supplies," so he could use loot; send me email if you are in a Support Our Troops

Aleksei is my FIL's wife's son- a good kid who we thought would follow in our geek footsteps but instead started eating meat then became a Marine.
